I Am No Longer a Republican

Dead GOPI am no longer a Republican. John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and their Democrat-lite, RINO Republican establishment have seen to that. They have betrayed their own constituents. They have actively turned against the American people – the very voters who granted them power to do good.

Habakkuk complained to God that his nation was full of injustice, violence, destruction, strife and conflict. He wondered how long God would permit these conditions to exist without His intervention. God assured Habakkuk that He was preparing an answer that would utterly amaze Habakkuk. However, God’s remedy was not one that would cheer the heart of Habakkuk, for a nation more wicked than his would be the instrument of judgment. This is not a prophecy about America, but it reveals a truth that God is active in the affairs of men, and He will judge sin and wickedness. Is it too late for America? Possibly. But if there is any hope for this nation, that hope can only be found in the return of God’s people to Biblical principles through repentance. For too long Bible believing Christians have relegated the affairs of government to those in government, thus removing their voices from those who govern and so, we find ourselves in this current state. I do know, however, that praying Christians are scattered throughout Congress and government. Our responsibility is to pray for them, that God would grant them wisdom and that He would protect them from evil.
Thanks for a good column, I agree, I am no longer a Republican.

Good response Roger. Thanks for reminding everyone that God is still involved in human events. He has not forgotten His people either. Our job is to be faithful to our calling and leave the results to Him!
