The Heart Of Apostasy: How The Black church Abandoned Biblical Authority For Political Ideology--And How to Reclaim It.
The Heart of Apostasy: How the Black Church Abandoned Biblical Authority for Political Ideology—and How to Reclaim It, by Dr. Eric M. Wallace, offers a bold and insightful analysis of why much of the Black Church continues to support political candidates and public policies that stand in direct contradiction to its own conservative and biblical values.
Drawn from the “parable of the sower” in Luke 8, Dr. Wallace exposes a deeper spiritual issue—a heart condition—symptomatic of cognitive dissonance and disconnect between one’s beliefs and actions. This authoritative work is intended to challenge readers to confront the tension between cultural allegiances and biblical obedience. It calls back the Church and its people to an uncompromised, steadfast, and unwavering faith.
